Young pianist Dantas at Castle’s Chapel
After the sensational solo debut by the ten-year-old Laetitia Hahn and the equally impressive Chopin program by the young Albanian pianist Laida Hitaj, follows another outsanding concert held in the very atmospheric ambience of the Chapel of the Citadel (Schlosskapelle), in Jülich on March 8th at 6pm:
The 22-year-old Portuguese pianist Vasco Dantas performs an “Extra-Class” or a high-quality program by Franz Liszt, which will only rarely be heard due to the extraordinary pianist difficulty in this compilation.
After Liszt’s piano version of Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in A minor BWV 543 follows the six extremely virtuoso Liszt-Paganini etudes, including the famous “La Campanella”.
The last piece is the Sonata in B minor, Liszt’s most important piano work.
